"What's Wrong, Mick?" is a children's book written by Emma Soorikian and illustrated by Rachel Eleanor with a mission to give voice to children who struggle with their own mental state. This book is being published to bring awareness to families with children who may struggle with mental illness and be a resource to those looking for more answers about childhood tick borne infections and PANS-like illnesses.

Our Story

Emma wrote the text for the book, What’s Wrong, Mick? It is a sweet story she’d hoped to share with the world. The story tells the tale of Mick the Mouse who is suffering from a psychiatric illness and illustrates the various ways the symptoms look and how it’s effects impact relationships with others. She wrote it in a small, hopeful window of time between her mental diagnosis and her relapse in the summer of 2022. She wanted her book to help children talk openly and it is perfectly suited to give voice to children experiencing the symptoms seen present in patients diagnosed with this disorder.

Our Mission

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
